Originally from Helsinki, Finland, based in Brooklyn NY and traveling the world working on global campaigns, original series and music videos. His travels and interest in art, architecture and the shared human experience inspire his approach to storytelling, lighting and composition.

Mikko brings to the table a unique work ethic having had a multitude of experiences on Hollywood scale productions and “one-man band” doc-style projects alike.

Mikko knows that film, like life, requires seizing the moment – a lesson in flexibility that is reinforced daily by his 4-year old son.
